About JPN
The Journal of Psychiatry & Neuroscience (JPN) publishes papers at the intersection of psychiatry and neuroscience that advance our understanding of the neural mechanisms involved in the etiology and treatment of psychiatric disorders. This includes studies on patients with psychiatric disorders, healthy humans, and experimental animals as well as studies in vitro. Original research articles, including clinical trials with a mechanistic component, and review papers will be considered.
JPN is an open access journal. All articles published are available free of charge on this website as well as on PubMed Central. JPN is owned by CMA Impact Inc., a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Association.
A high-quality scientific journal could not be produced without the anonymous, unpaid and often inadequately appreciated work of its reviewers. The editors and staff of the Journal of Psychiatry & Neuroscience thank everyone who reviewed submissions to the journal in 2022. View the 2022 Reviewer list.
