Heinz Lehmann Award
Dr. Bruno Giros is the recipient of the 2022 Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP) Heinz Lehmann Award. Dr. Giros is a distinguished James B. McGill professor of psychiatry at McGill University in Montréal, Que., and is a visiting professor at the Université de Paris. The award is being given this year for basic research. The award, sponsored by Pfizer Canada Inc., consists of a $2000 honorarium and a suitably engraved plaque. Congratulations to Dr. Giros!
Innovations in Neuropsychopharmacology Award
Dr. Gabriella Gobbi is the recipient of the 2022 Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP) Innovations in Neuropsychopharmacology Award. Dr. Gobbi is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University in Montréal, Que., and holds the Canada Research Chair in Therapeutics for Mental Health (Tier 1). CCNP Medal
Dr. Gary Remington is the recipient of the 2022 CCNP Medal. Dr. Remington is currently a professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto, with a cross appointment in the Department of Psychological Clinical Science. This award, sponsored by the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP), consists of a bronze medal engraved with the name of the recipient. Congratulations to Dr. Remington!
Young Investigator Award
Dr. Alexander McGirr is the recipient of the 2022 Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP) Young Investigator Award. Dr. McGirr is an assistant professor and psychiatrist at the University of Calgary. The award is being given this year for clinical research.
